Field Day overview (Thursday 5/12)
Very successful event this year!
Feedback: split shifts for AM/PM so more parents can volunteer, provide lunch for volunteers, bounce house obstacle course station?, have classrooms spectate during the 3rd and 4th grade races, awards for more track & field events
Staff appreciation overview
Moe’s delivered for free, tax exempt & provided a discount- teachers were happy!
Trail mix bar on teacher appreciation week
Yearbook update
They’re in- will be given to teachers on Monday
We can change companies after next year to have a better priced yearbook

Fun Fest updates and feedback
Gave Mr. Jim an appreciation gift
Provided Ray the Balloon guy extra (he volunteers his time; we pay for the balloons)
Games- have some big prizes somehow
Axe throwing, balloon popping, and throw a ball at cans
Passport for a prize
NHS helped Friday and most of the day Saturday
Baseball players helped for an hour
Raffle baskets- more kid-orientated raffle options (these were most popular)
Consider a way to make raffles go smoother/faster while drawing
Preview raffles on morning announcements
Presale raffles- the ones that go home are a different color and have a return by date.
Change the date for next year: avoid field day, avoid TVEC and HB dates
Heidi- Fourth grade party update
Budget updates
The committee will discuss options to donate back to the school with leftover money
Yellow bracelets for Peyton
Sold $140 bracelets during lunch
Give back project
More lunch picnic tables- umbrella options?
Concrete/pavement the outdoor lunch area as well
Talk with Mrs. VanB about which hard surface would be best
Triangle sun shade
